Losing a loved one to suicide is one of the most emotionally devastating and challenging experiences someone has to go through. Not only do you suffer the devastating loss of someone you love and care for but you are left with confusion, questions, guilt and worst of all have to face the stigma attached to a suicide loss.
A person who is suicidal doesn’t always show signs and wont always ask for help. This may be for many reasons; shame, embarrassment, fear of someone trying to stop them, and this is why there is so much disbelief and shock as to why they choose to end their life.
There are no words we can say that will ease the pain of the person experiencing the suicide loss but there are words that can add to their pain and guilt, this is what we will delve into in this two-part workshop.
